Charity at Michael Hardy

Over the years Michael Hardy have made regular contributions to Charity. The Managing Director, Neal Mackenzie has regularly run Half Marathons for good causes (click here to find out why I run for charity), raising £ 15,000 for Cancer research. In addition we have sponsored expeditions to Kilimanjaro which have raised money for a cancer ward at the John Radcliffe.

Over the past few years we have paid in excess of £ 5,000 towards Medicin Sans Frontier.  As the name suggests this is a charity sponsoring doctors and nurses to go to the most dangerous and deprived places in the world to offer medical assistance, if the environment is inhospitable and people are in trouble, more than likely you will find a Medecin Sans Frontier tent right in the middle of the trouble. www.msf.org.uk

In these times of austerity it is sometimes easy to cut back but we have managed to sustain our level of commitment to all the charities with whom we have a long term relationship. There is always someone who could do with a little help.
