We've won the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service award for the second year in a row

We are delighted to have won the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service award, an independent seal of excellence that recognises businesses for delivering exceptional experiences, for a second consecutive year! In a normal year we would be incredibly pleased with this achievement, but to have gained this recognition once again following such a challenging period, makes us exceptionally proud of our hard-working team.

At Michael Hardy we strive to give all our customers the best possible experience. In addition to the efforts we go to in selling a property quickly and for the best possible price, we pride ourselves on excellent communication throughout.

It is of great importance to us that our customers feel listened to, understood and that they feel fully updated on developments at every step of the journey.

What is the Feefo Trusted Estate Agents Service award?

Created by Feefo, Trusted Service is awarded only to businesses that use Feefo to collect genuine customer reviews and insights. A highly valued badge of approval, this accreditation remains unique, as it is based purely on the interactions with real customers. They go to great lengths to verify all reviews as genuine to instil public trust in the accreditation.

Feefo have given Platinum Trusted Service awards to businesses who have achieved Gold standard for three consecutive years. The Feefo Gold Trusted Service award recognises those who have collected at least 50 Feefo reviews in a year and have achieved a service rating of at least 4.5

How have we achieved the platinum rating?

We’ve mentioned our dedication to excellent customer service but what also sets us apart from the rest, is the maturity and experience of the sales and lettings teams as well as our forward-thinking attitude.

From the outset, we invest heavily in marketing, employing the services of one the UK’s leading agencies to produce top quality professional photographs, detailed and accurate floorplans, as well as state-of the-art 3D virtual tours. We receive lots of compliments about our photography and firmly believe it is best to leave this to the professionals, rather than sending an agent out with a camera.

Of course we do everything we can to negotiate as much money as possible from a prospective buyer, but we also believe in ‘Smart Selling’. Successfully negotiating a sale is so much more than just putting forward an offer. Before any offers are submitted to vendors, we investigate all relevant details about the buyer including their property chain and their affordability in terms of either mortgage lender or proof of cash. We always prefer ‘the right sale’ to ‘the next sale’. No one gains when a chain collapses!

How a traditional estate agency can offer better service levels

Having a high street presence allows us to give our clients the comfort of a friendly face to offer help and advice during what can be a very stressful process.

By contrast, recent statistics show that online agents sell far fewer of the properties they market. Often their business model is to rely on inexperienced staff and budget marketing techniques.
