As an established company in Wokingham and Crowthorne, we feel it is our duty and responsibility to give something back to the community and local charities whenever we can. In many cases this has been sponsorship of local school fetes, in other cases our contribution has been more significant.
We currently sponsor three local Primary Schools and have sponsored many local events from Wokingham Town Mobility, Wokingham Festival of Music, Wokingham Firework Display and Wokingham Open Air Cinema to name but a few. In addition to that, our ‘Michael Hardy Walkers’ have raised money for the local charity close to all our hearts, The Ollie Young Foundation and Neal himself has raised over £2,500 for Cancer Research and The MacMillan Trust.
School Sponsorships
Oaklands Infant and Junior Schools, Crowthorne
Michael Hardy are also linked to Oaklands Infant and Junior Schools in Crowthorne and donate to the PTA every year for whatever on-going projects they are focusing on. We also support their Christmas and Summer Fetes and recently sponsored their float entry into the Annual Crowthorne Carnival.
Hawthorns Primary School, Wokingham
Michael Hardy are proud to sponsor Hawthorns School PTA in Woosehill and have donated £2,000 p.a. for over 15 years and we supply the PTA Team with their school branded polo shirts. We also sponsor their new initiative, the Aspirational Quality Awards. The winning pupils are recognised for their attributes and skills which will enable them to be successful adults in today’s society. For our 30th Anniversary Year, the school and children very kindly produced a wonderful selection of their work to thank us for our long standing support which was presented to us during a school assembly.
Winnersh Primary School, Winnersh
Michael Hardy Lettings donate £2,000 p.a. to Winnersh Primary School PTA to go towards any new equipment they plan to purchase for the school and pupils that year. In addition we also sponsor their annual Summer and Christmas Fetes.
These contributions may be modest against a school’s budget but we like to think that the money helps the school and its staff in their efforts to educate the community’s children.

Local Business Support
Wokingham Town Mobility
Wokingham Town Mobility was established in May 1998 and has grown dramatically, particularly in recent years. Michael Hardy Lettings have supported the scheme for a number of years by paying the electricity bill for Wokingham Town Mobility. The service allows anyone with walking difficulties to access all the shops and services that Wokingham has to offer.
