Just 34 miles west of Central London is the newly regenerated town of Bracknell. As a commercial centre and the UK headquarters for several technology companies, Bracknell has seen substantial growth over recent years. Part of the regeneration saw the opening of The Lexicon in 2017 with its mix of new shops, restaurants, and a Cineworld cinema. To entertain the growing number of families attracted to the area, the town offers a wide selection of leisure facilities from the water slides at Coral Reef, the dry ski slope and ice rink at the John Nike Stadium to the local bowling alley. On the outskirts of the town is Swindley Forest with its 2,600 acres of woodland to explore and Bracknell is also home to South Hill Park, an 18th century mansion house. This wonderful mansion house, which boasts two theatres, a dance studio, creative spaces, cafe and a cinema, hosts many annual events including Arts and Design Fairs and South Hill Park Festival of Food and Music.
